Fellowship & Care

Christians grow and are strengthened in their faith by close association with other Christians. Christ Our King provides fellowship and care opportunities for all ages.

TLC Groups
These are small groups of 10 - 15 people (singles and couples) who meet, usually on a monthly basis, for Bible Study and fellowship.

Potblessings
Families and friends of Christ Our King meet at various times throughout the year to share a meal.

Coffee Hour
During our regular worship schedule, we gather between the early service and the beginning of Sunday School to share coffee and snacks — a great opportunity to get to know each other better.

Mission Opportunities
Christ Our King offers a variety of Mission Opportunities throughout the year: MOST mission trips, Bible studies on Sunday mornings, serving meals, and many more.

Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministers are lay people trained in listening and caring skills. A two year commitment is made to the program. Stephen Ministers will work with people dealing with many life issues such as but not limited to, depression, grief, loss of job and others. For more information on this program and when the next training session will begin, call Dave McNeil at 734.429.9200.

Parish Nurse Program
This program serves to integrate faith and our physical health by offering health education and screening, and acting as a referral agent to a variety of health services. The program works under the Human Care ministry here at Christ Our King.

G.O.L.F. (Good Old Lutheran Fellowship)
Christ Our King's golf league operates from late May through September. Golfers meet on Monday evenings. Many members as well as non-members are involved in this league.
